Inspiration for ou wine without alcohol

PURE ZERO began with a simple family moment that unexpectedly changed everything. We were celebrating our youngest daughter’s birthday at home, gathered around the table, sharing food, conversation, and a bottle of wine. In the middle of the celebration, she asked us: “Do you have any wine without alcohol?”. She wanted to join the toast, feel included in the ritual, and share the same experience as everyone else around the table. That question stayed with us long after the evening ended.

Rethinking
Alcohol-Free Wines

We have spent more than two decades in the wine industry. Wine has been part of our professional lives for over 20 years, tasting, developing, understanding vineyards, styles, structure, balance, and the emotional role wine plays in bringing people together. Over those years, we had tried many alcohol free wines, but the experience was always disappointing. Most products lacked the identity of real wine; they were often too sweet, too simple, too flat, or too artificial.

They missed the complexity, texture, freshness, and depth that make wine feel alive in the glass. Most importantly, they did not create the same emotional experience.

The Cultural Demand for
a True Wine Without Alcohol

Wine is about connection, ritual, slowing down, and celebration. We realized that millions of people were looking for a way to keep those moments alive without necessarily wanting the alcohol itself. At the same time, we could see a major cultural shift happening globally. A younger generation was changing the way it approached drinking, with more people choosing moderation, balance, wellness, or simply a different lifestyle. Some wanted to drink less, some did not want alcohol at all, and others simply wanted more options. What they all shared was the desire to belong; they still wanted the glass raised at dinner and the feeling of participating fully in the occasion.
